Key Information

Day 1 – Arrive and Relax
Arrive at Málaga Airport, where you’ll be greeted by our mountain bike instructor. From there, enjoy a scenic drive to Ronda, with plenty of time to chat about the week’s upcoming adventures.
 
Once at your hotel, settle in and relax or take a stroll through the charming town. In the evening, join a welcome briefing to meet your fellow riders, go over the plans for the week, and get ready to hit the trails!
 
Day 2 – Setenil
Your first full day of riding takes you along the scenic travelers’ route from Ronda to the picturesque village of Setenil. The journey is primarily on cross-country trails, offering a mix of flowing terrain and stunning views. Once in Setenil, take a well-deserved break to enjoy authentic tapas in a unique cave-side bar—a highlight of the day.After recharging, the adventure continues on the Ruta de Bandoleros, a historic trail that includes stream crossings and passes by the ancient ruins of Ronda la Vieja. The day wraps up with a rewarding ride back to Ronda, leaving you exhilarated and ready for more.
 
Day 3 – Sierra de Las Nieves
Dive into the Sierra de las Nieves for an epic day of fast, flowing singletrack through pine-covered mountains. Tackle rock gardens, switchbacks, berms, and drop-offs in this mountain biker’s paradise, perfect for all skill levels.
 
Day 4 – Montejaque to Jimera
Today’s ride takes you along an ancient mule track from Montejaque to Jimera. This trail is pure adrenaline—fast, flowing, and packed with fun from start to finish.Ride Distance: 20km of thrilling singletrack!
 

Day 5 – Rest Day

Take a well-earned break to explore the historic charm of Ronda. Wander through the old town, marvel at the iconic gorge, visit the famous bullring, Arabic baths, and city walls, or browse the local museums. For those seeking a little retail therapy, this is the perfect opportunity to indulge after an action-packed week.If you’re not ready to put your bike down, grab a route card and enjoy a self-guided ride at your own pace!

 
Day 6 – Montejaque
Ride from Ronda to Montejaque, tackling a thrilling descent with switchbacks. After a refreshment stop, return via fast, flowing singletrack, taking in stunning views of Ronda’s gorge before climbing back to the charming old town.
 
Day 7 – Ardales
Finish strong with slick rock riding near Ardales, featuring Moab-style roller coasters and some of the fastest, most thrilling singletrack around. An epic finale that will leave you grinning and wanting more!
 
Day 8 – Departure
It’s time to pack up and say farewell. We’ll collect you and ensure a smooth transfer back to Málaga Airport for your journey home.

All you need to do is get yourself to Málaga Airport and we’ll do the rest! Your Mountain Bike Guide will be there to greet you and take you to your accomodation.

Included in your tour is comfortable accommodation, with the option of either a town house or hotel, depending on your preference. 

If you choose the hotel option, breakfast is provided each morning to fuel you for the day ahead. You’ll have an experienced guide leading you on all rides, ensuring you get the most out of the trails while keeping things safe and enjoyable. Additionally, there’s emergency on-call van support, offering peace of mind throughout the week should you need assistance on the trails.

Not included in the tour are meals (other than breakfast with the hotel option), travel insurance, health insurance, and flights. You’ll need to arrange and cover the cost of these separately, ensuring you have the proper coverage for your trip and travel arrangements.

1. What’s not included in the tour?

Meals (except breakfast with the hotel option), travel insurance, health insurance, flights, and any optional personal expenses (such as souvenirs or extra activities) are not included.

2. Will I need to bring my own gear?
You’ll need to bring your own helmet, gloves, cycling clothing, hydration system, and personal items (such as sunscreen and toiletries). The guide will have first aid kits and mechanical tools for the bikes.

3. Can I rent a bike?
Yes, bike rentals are available locally. Please contact us ahead of time to arrange a rental, and we’ll make sure the bike is suited to the trails.

4. How do I get to the tour?
The tour begins and ends at Málaga Airport. We’ll provide a transfer to and from Ronda, but flights to Málaga are not included in the price. Be sure to arrange your own travel to and from the airport.

5. Do I need travel insurance?
Yes, we strongly recommend that you have comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for medical emergencies and bike-related incidents.

6. Can beginners join this tour?
This tour is designed for intermediate riders. Beginners may find some of the terrain challenging, but with a good fitness level and willingness to push yourself, you might still enjoy the experience. If you’re unsure, please reach out for advice.
