Overview
Specialized Turbo Levo Comp Carbon is our top pick for a high-performance Full Suspension Electric Mountain Bike. It’s designed to give you the best experience on the trail. Specifications include:
- Frame: CT 11 Carbon
- Rear Shock: Marzocchi Bomber inline, 150mm of custom-tuned rear suspension
- Forks: Marzocchi Bomber, 150mm travel, sweep adjuster suspension
- Motor: Specialized/Brose 2.2 90Nm, 565W peak power
- Battery: Specialized 700Wh
- Weight: 22.43kg
- Rating: 9/10 (Outstanding!)
It’s truly an incredible bike and worthy of our Best Full Suspension Mountain Bike Award. It has exceptional ride quality, a versatile performance, and advanced integration of motor and battery systems. On top of that, its adjustable geometry and mixed-wheel setup (29″ front, 27.5″ rear) offers a balanced and responsive trail experience.
Its success is a result of its smooth and silent motor, wide size range, aggressive nature and adjustable frame geometry.
It’s lively responsive handling and a removable battery makes the whole thing a lot more convenient. However, what really makes the Turbo Levo is how damn fun it is to ride!
Final Verdict
While Specialized has made some compromises, most of these are standard wear-and-tear parts that can be upgraded over time. Right out of the box, it’s one of the most agile and playful Full Suspension Mountain Bikes!
This will allow you to conserve energy for extended adventures, or unleash it’s full potential on fast and technical descents. It’s a well-rounded package that’s hard to beat.

Polygon Siskiu T7E
Our Best Full Suspension Electric Mountain Bike on a Budget

Frame: ALX Enduro alloy, 144mm travel | Motor: Shimano EP801 600W, 85Nm | Battery: Shimano 630Wh | Weight: 24.62kg | Rating: 9/10
✅ Reasons to Buy
- Excellent handling and modern geometry
- Powerful Shimano EP801 motor paired with a 630Wh battery
- Fully adjustable suspension for a dialed-in ride
- Shimano SLX drivetrain with a wide-range cassette
- Flip-chip allows for MX wheel configuration
❌ Reasons to Avoid
- Battery dislodged multiple times
- Hard compound tires reduce grip
- Suntour rear shock failed after minimal use
- Geometry is slacker than advertised, but this could be a plus!
From the moment we started reviewing the Polygon Siskiu T7E, we were very impressed! The bike is fitted with a Shimano EP801 motor along with a full-sized 630Wh battery. This, therefore, delivers remarkable power. The frame of the bike is low slung, and along with it having a balanced geometry, makes it easy to traverse technical and high speed terrain. Alongside the bike is a drivetrain with wide range and 4 piston brakes which makes the bike confident and capable and adjustable suspension which makes the ride effortless.
Despite the above, the bike issues of retaining smoother grip at high speed has to be dealt with by the front tire. Another small issue is the mounts of the battery have been placed incorrectly, which led to the battery being dislodged while the rear shock also ceased to work effectively.
After stripping the bike, readjusted the mounts, replacing the shock, and gave the bike a thorough servicing, it was ready to be ridden again.
Whyte E-Lyte 150 RSX
Our Best Lightweight Full Suspension Electric Mountain Bike!

Frame: Carbon, 140mm travel | Motor: Bosch Performance SX, 55Nm, 600W peak power | Battery: Bosch 400Wh | Weight: 19.92kg | Rating: 9/10
✅ Reasons to Buy
- Well-balanced handling and suspension
- Low center of gravity, even with a range extender
- Excellent build quality for the price
- Adjustable geometry with flip chip
❌ Reasons to Avoid
- Maxxis Dissector rear tire lacks grip
- Limited to four frame sizes
- Range extender sold separately
- Bosch SX motor produces a rattle when coasting
Overview
Whyte’s full-power e-bikes are built tough and with quality materials, which often tips the weight over 25kg. With the launch of the E-Lyte 150, Whyte set out to create an enduro-rated SL e-bike weighing less than 20kg. Its low centre of gravity enhances stability and the flip chip geometry adjustment allows for a customizable ride. It’s agile yet planted. And it excels both on climbs and technical descents. We think its awesome! Truely deserving of Our Best Lightweight Full Suspension Mountain Bike.

No mountain bike is truly perfect, but the Whyte ELyte 150 RSX comes impressively close. With outstanding handling, well-balanced proportions, and exceptional suspension, it delivers a top-tier riding experience. The sleek full-carbon frame not only looks great, but also accommodates both a full-size water bottle and a range extender. Whilst a grippier rear tire would be welcome, the wireless SRAM GX drivetrain, carbon 29-inch wheels, and SRAM brakes leave little to be desired.

Final Verdict
So, why not a perfect 10? Well, for one, The Bosch Performance Line SX motor introduces noticeable drag above the 15.5mph assist limit or when the battery runs out. It also has a slight rattle when coasting. Additionally, its range falls short compared to the Fazua Ride 60-equipped Santa Cruz Heckler SL. The Bosch SX system is undoubtedly more reliable, though. Despite these minor drawbacks, the ELyte 150 RSX stands out as the best in its class!

From the moment we unboxed the Polygon Siskiu T7E, we were very impressed! The bike is fitted with a Shimano EP801 motor along with a full-sized 630Wh battery. Despite the above, the bike issues of retaining smoother grip at high speed has to be dealt with by the front tire. Our examinations have also revealed other potential problems: the mounts of the battery were placed incorrectly which led to the battery being dislodged. This also caused the rear shock to work as effectively.
After stripped the bike, readjusted the mounts, replaced the shock, and giving the bike a thorough servicing, it was ready to be ridden again. However, all of this non monitored work needs to be monitored more stringently.
